Delivery to upper floors or hard-to-reach locations
When delivery via stairs or building elevator is not possible, we use a crane. We work with a trusted crane operator who operates a 120-tonne/meter crane with JIB extension, allowing us to deliver safes of up to 1500 kg through a window up to the 9th floor. For even higher placements or complex access situations, we rely on a telescopic crane.
Discreet transport
All deliveries are carried out as discreetly as possible. Safes are wrapped in opaque film and transported in unmarked vehicles with no branding, ensuring your privacy and security at all times.
Anchoring in compliance with EN 1143-1
Safes under 1000 kg must be anchored according to European standard EN 1143-1. Atelier Boonen performs these anchorings carefully and correctly, using suitable professional materials. In most cases, we use chemical anchoring: a high-tensile threaded rod is bonded into the floor or wall using a special two-component mortar.
This method offers several advantages:
- Higher pull-out strength than mechanical anchors
- Flexible application depending on floor or wall type
- Reliable performance across a wide range of surfaces
In cases where the floor or wall material is unsuitable for direct anchoring, we design and install custom base structures or support systems to ensure a secure and lasting result.
Stairs, basements and building protection
For lighter safes (up to approx. 400 kg), we use various types of stair climbers, adapted to the weight and staircase type. We always provide protective materials to prevent damage to stairs, floors or walls – including reinforced plates, stair nose protectors and impact-resistant coverings.
No hidden costs
Good to know: 95% of our installations – including those on upper floors or in basements via stairs – are carried out without additional charges.
