Not every safe meets the practical or aesthetic requirements of the user. Atelier Boonen develops safes that are fully tailored to the available space and intended use. Both the exterior dimensions and the interior layout can be adapted to your needs, ensuring that security and functionality go hand in hand with comfort and design.

Dimensional adjustments

When a standard model does not suffice, Atelier Boonen can have safes and strongboxes manufactured in bespoke dimensions. For non-certified safes and strongboxes, the possibilities are virtually unlimited: width, height, and depth can be freely defined.

For certified safes and fire-resistant cabinets, however, a restriction applies: the exterior dimensions may not deviate by more than 15% from an existing model in order to retain the certification. Within this margin, a model can therefore be made wider, narrower, taller, or less deep, ensuring seamless integration into the available space.

Beyond functional layouts, Atelier Boonen also offers safes with refined aesthetic finishes. Both the exterior and interior can be customized according to your wishes. Options include high-gloss or matte lacquer in various RAL colours, chrome or gold-plated details, and premium-quality hinges and locks.

Inside, additional features can be integrated such as soft-close drawers, LED lighting with sensor, USB charging ports, or watch winders for automatic timepieces. Various wood finishes and colour schemes are also available.

Locks and access options

A safe can be equipped with different types of locks, depending on the desired ease of use and the required security level. In addition to traditional key locks, options include mechanical combination locks, electronic keypads, and advanced time locks.

For professional applications, certain models provide features such as audit trails, multiple user profiles, or integration with existing access control systems. Some electronic locks can also be connected to a network, allowing access rights and management to be controlled remotely via IP.
