Technically, the Fichet-Bauche Carena and the Fichet-Bauche Millium are equivalent safes: both are certified according to EN 1143-1 and built with thin walls filled with Fichet-Bauche's patented Gradium composite. The difference lies in the design.
The Carena came first, with an innovative concept: a curved door and a shutter concealing the locks. In the early 2000s, the Millium joined the range, with a cleaner look: a flat door and surface-mounted locks.
The Millium is by far the best-selling Fichet-Bauche safe today. The Carena is mainly chosen by boutiques and private clients who value aesthetics and design.
