From Grade IV onwards, two safe locks are always required (a combination of key lock and code lock, or two code locks). For lighter safes, a second lock can optionally be added.
Electronic safe locks: user-friendly, easy to set and change, often with multiple codes, time functions, audit trail and alarm integration.
Mechanical safe locks: extremely reliable and durable, less prone to defects, but slower to operate and more complex to change codes.
Key locks: useful as an additional lock, but not recommended as the sole locking system.
