Yes — and the reason lies in the construction itself. A built-in safe, wall safe or floor safe has only an armoured door; the walls are made of sheet steel of 2 to 3 mm and offer little resistance to burglary on their own. The surrounding concrete is therefore not optional but essential: it becomes part of the protection and makes extraction or removal considerably more difficult.
