The Fichet-Bauche MC4 mechanical combination lock was developed as the successor to the older Fichet-Bauche C2C lock. While the knob looks similar in design, the internal mechanism has been completely redesigned. The MC4 is a simplified version of the Fichet-Bauche Moneo lock, featuring four dials instead of seven.

Operation is highly user-friendly. The code consists of four digits (0–12), entered via precise, tactile clicks. This makes the lock easy to operate even in the dark or by visually impaired users. When opening, the digits are automatically erased: the dials return to zero (automatic scrambling of the code), ensuring the combination is never left visible.

Certified to EN 1300 Class A, ECB-S and A2P Class 1, the MC4 is frequently combined with a Fichet-Bauche MxB-B key lock in models such as Carena, Millium and Helios. It offers a secure and durable solution for a wide range of safe and cabinet applications.
