For more than two centuries, Fichet-Bauche has been a benchmark in physical security. The brand was formed through the merger of two pioneering French companies: Fichet, established in 1825, and Bauche, founded in 1864. Since their unification in 1967, Fichet-Bauche has grown into a world-leading manufacturer of safes, secure cabinets, vault doors and vault rooms.
In-house locking systems and patented technology
What sets Fichet-Bauche apart is its ability to design and produce its own locking mechanisms and combination locks. These patented technologies — from the legendary Monopole lock, originally a Bauche development, to the current M3B and MxB generations — deliver a high resistance to manipulation and attack. With integrated R&D teams and its own production sites in France, the brand retains control over quality, innovation and compliance with the ECB·S and A2P certification standards.
The range by application
The range covers every security level, from compact models for the home and office to heavily certified versions for jewellers, banks and high-risk environments. Not every model protects against the same thing, and that determines where to look. Models that protect against burglary only, such as the Millium, the Carena and the Atrius, belong with the burglary-resistant safes. Versions that combine burglary and fire protection, such as the Helios and the InviKtus, are found among the fire-resistant safes. If your priority is protecting documents or data media against fire, the Celsia and the Diva belong with the fire-resistant cabinets. For larger volumes we supply and install Fichet-Bauche vault rooms and vault doors. A hallmark of the brand is the combination of high-performance armouring with a relatively low weight, the result of decades of innovation in composite materials.
Service for existing Fichet and Bauche safes
Several thousand older Fichet and Bauche safes are still in use in Belgium, and our service for them matters as much as the sales side. We open and repair every generation of Fichet-Bauche safe and cut replacement keys for virtually every historic lock type, from NS and Monopole to M2b, RC30 and the MxB series. Replacing an outdated lock with an electronic lock is equally possible.
