A strongroom is a reinforced space equipped with a vault door, designed for the secure storage of large volumes of valuable items. The traditional version consists of a room made from reinforced concrete walls, within which a vault door is integrated. The thickness and level of reinforcement of the walls depend on the desired security level.
An interesting alternative to the traditional strongroom is the prefabricated vault room, made of interlocking armored panels fixed from the inside. These prefabricated vault rooms offer significant advantages over traditional concrete rooms: they are much lighter, allow for quick and easy installation, even in existing buildings, and feature thinner walls, which leads to space savings.
Our range includes vault doors and strongrooms from security class 0 to class XIII (KB). Kaso also manufactures special fireproof strongrooms, ideal for the protected storage of archives, artwork, sensitive documents, and other valuable items.
Upon request, vault doors can be equipped with a mechanism for opening from the inside, allowing the strongroom to also function as a panic room.
