Wertheim Safes is an Austrian manufacturer renowned for its certified safes, vault doors and vault rooms. Founded in 1852 by Franz von Wertheim, the brand has a long tradition in developing and producing physical security solutions for professionals, institutions and private users.
Manufacturing quality and certification
A Wertheim safe stands out through its robust construction, its locking quality and a refined finish, with control at every stage of the manufacturing process. The safes are certified to EN 1143-1, the standard that defines the test methods and resistance grades for burglar-resistant safes. Wertheim works with independent certification bodies including VSÖ, VdS, ECB·S and A2P.
The range by application
The current range runs from grade 1 to grade 5 CD and is aimed first of all at burglary resistance: the A, B and C series and the xWS series belong with the burglary-resistant safes. If you also need a tested level of fire resistance, look at the fire-resistant safes or, for documents and data media, the fire-resistant cabinets. The brand is particularly strong in the higher grades, where it offers large-volume safes for cash, archives, data media, jewellery or professional goods. The range also includes built-in safes and demountable models.
Vault doors and vault rooms
In addition to standard safes, Wertheim specialises in vault doors and vault rooms, intended for banks, government bodies, jewellers, retailers and organisations seeking a higher level of protection, up to the highest grades. Locks and configuration
Depending on the model, a Wertheim safe can be fitted with a key lock, an electronic code lock or a more advanced locking system with time delay, access control or electronic management. This lets you tailor the safe to its intended use, the required security level and the practical constraints on site.
