Wertheim DWS and EWS – High-security certified safes Grade IV and V (EN 1143-1, ECB·S)
The Wertheim DWS and EWS series belong to the xWS range of certified high-security safes, designed for professional environments with elevated risk profiles. All models are certified according to European standard EN 1143-1 by ECB·S:
– DWS: Grade IV
– EWS: Grade V
Each safe features a multi-walled, heavily armoured construction, with three-sided locking and solid fixed bolts on the hinge side, offering effective resistance against lateral attacks. The door opens a full 180° via external hinges. All models come with floor and rear wall anchoring, and are pre-fitted for intruder alarm system (IAS) connection.
As required by the standard, two independently certified locks (EN 1300 Class B) are fitted — this may include a key lock, mechanical combination, or electronic code lock, or any combination thereof.
Optional features include:
– 60-minute fire resistance (LFS 60P – EN 15659)
– Core drill protection (CD) with reinforced plates against diamond drilling tools
– Demountable version from model 1000, for on-site delivery and assembly
The xWS safes are available in large sizes, from 110 to 1050 litres, making them ideal for professional settings where maximum certified protection is essential.
