Fire-resistant cabinets for flammable liquids and chemicals
Chemical cabinets are designed for the safe storage of flammable liquids, solvents, acids and bases in workspaces and storage areas. In the event of an external fire, they prevent the contents from igniting and provide up to 90 minutes for evacuation and intervention.
Our chemical cabinets are tested and certified to EN 14470-1 and equipped with:
- automatic door closure above 50 °C,
- heat-reactive seals that close gaps under fire conditions,
- inlet and outlet ventilation with fire dampers closing above 70 °C,
- spill tray for leaks,
- earthing connection for electrostatic safety in ATEX zones.
Fire resistance is available in Type 30, 60 and 90 — depending on the risk assessment, storage volume and requirements from fire insurers or safety advisors. Suited to laboratories, workshops, production environments and industrial storage areas.
