Asecos V-LINE – Type 90 safety cabinet with vertical pull-out drawers
The Asecos V-LINE is a safety cabinet for flammable liquids that works differently from a cabinet with doors: storage is in vertical drawers that you pull fully out of the cabinet. You see and take every container from both sides, without having to move bottles at the front first. The cabinet is fire-resistant for 90 minutes to EN 14470-1 (type 90), GS certified and compliant with EN 16121 and EN 16122.
At 86 cm deep, the V-LINE fits the space next to a fume cupboard or workbench, a spot a conventional safety cabinet usually leaves unused. According to Asecos, a V-LINE offers as much storage as a standard cabinet at half the width. There are versions 45 cm wide with one drawer and 81 cm wide with two drawers. On the V-MOVE-90 the drawers are electrically operated; the 60 cm wide V-CLASSIC-90 MULTIRISK lets you store different hazardous substances in one cabinet.
The pull-out shelves can be fitted with a rail that gives containers extra protection against tipping, and a sump at the bottom collects any leakage. Like every safety cabinet, the V-LINE is ready for connection to mechanical extraction. You choose a two-colour version with five door colours or a single-colour version in two colours.
