Asecos UFA.025.030 – Recirculating filter unit for safety cabinets
Not every workplace has an extraction duct to the outside. The Asecos UFA.025.030 sits on top of the safety cabinet, extracts the vapours from the cabinet and filters them, returning cleaned air to the room. This avoids building work and costly exhaust ducts and gives you more freedom in placing the cabinet.
According to Asecos, the broadband activated-carbon filter retains 99.999 % of hydrocarbons from the air until saturated, and a second activated-carbon filter on the outlet side adds extra protection. Calibrated sensors measure the concentration in the exhaust air and the extracted volume. A colour display shows filter saturation, operating status and errors, with optical and acoustic alarm and a potential-free contact for remote signalling. The plastic filter cassette is corrosion-resistant and reusable.
The unit is plug-and-play, very quiet at about 23 dB(A) and ATEX compliant. It fits Asecos safety cabinets of the S, Q and V lines, UB-LINE under-bench cabinets and XL-LINE drum cabinets. Whether recirculation is sufficient in your situation follows from your risk assessment.
