Asecos FX-LINE – Safety cabinet with built-in recirculating filter
The Asecos FX-LINE combines a safety cabinet and a recirculating filter in one unit. The cabinet extracts the vapours of the stored substances, filters them and returns the cleaned air to the room. This prevents an explosive atmosphere in the cabinet and harmful vapours at the workplace, without an exhaust duct to the outside. That makes the FX-LINE suitable for locations where connection to extraction is not possible.
The FX-LINE is built on the safety cabinets of the Q-LINE: fire-resistant for 90 minutes (type 90) or 30 minutes (type 30), type-tested to EN 14470-1, GS certified, compliant with EN 16121 and EN 16122, and ATEX compliant. Versions include models with hinged doors (FX-PEGASUS-90, 60 or 120 cm wide) and the 86 cm wide FX-DISPLAY-30.
The filter unit monitors filter saturation by solvent vapours and the extracted air volume, and schedules service intervals. If there is a problem, it warns with an optical and acoustic signal, with a potential-free contact for remote signalling. At about 39 dB(A) it runs quietly. The filter system is reusable, and an integrated transport base makes moving the cabinet within the company easy. Your risk assessment determines whether recirculation is sufficient.
