Fichet-Bauche Complice wall safe

Fichet-Bauche Complice wall safe – Built-in safe Grade 0

The Fichet-Bauche Complice wall safe is a compact built-in safe, manufactured in France, designed to be built into a wall or embedded in concrete. The wall thus becomes part of the protection, while the safe remains discreetly concealed.

The safe offers certified protection against burglary according to the European standard EN 1143-1, Grade 0, with A2P certification following tests by the CNPP laboratory.

The body of the safe is made of single-walled sheet steel: once built in or embedded in concrete, the wall itself takes over the protection of the body. All resistance is therefore concentrated in the armoured door. The weight remains limited as a result — 27 to 45 kg depending on the model — which makes delivery and installation considerably easier, even on an upper floor.

The armoured door, with a total thickness of 87 mm, is fitted with steel locking over its full height, protected laterally by an armour plate, and a hook bar on the hinge side that effectively prevents the door from being lifted off. An additional blocking mechanism automatically locks the door in the event of an attack with mechanical or thermal tools. Thanks to the external hinges, the door opens up to 180°, giving particularly easy access to the contents.

Two locking systems are available:

– K models: high-security Fichet-Bauche MPX key lock, combined with the mechanical Trois Tubes Compteurs (3T) counter combination
– E models: Fichet-Bauche Nectra electronic code lock

The locking systems are A2P certified and comply with the European standard EN 1300.

The Complice wall safe is available in three capacities: 10, 20 and 40 litres, each with key lock (K) or electronic lock (E). If you are looking for a free-standing safe instead, to be fixed to the floor or wall, see the free-standing Fichet-Bauche Complice — also available in 80 litres and with certified fire protection on the 20 to 80 litre models.

Frequently asked questions

Yes — and the reason lies in the construction itself. A built-in safe, wall safe or floor safe has only an armoured door; the walls are made of sheet steel of 2 to 3 mm and offer little resistance to burglary on their own. The surrounding concrete is therefore not optional but essential: it becomes part of the protection and makes extraction or removal considerably more difficult. Most of our wall safes feature drill protection around the bolts — including at the top and bottom where the bolts emerge. Would you prefer to install a safe without any building or masonry work? Then opt for a freestanding furniture safe that can be anchored to the floor or wall without embedding.

The minimum wall thickness is the depth of the safe itself plus at least 10 cm of concrete at the rear, plus any finishing at the back. For most wall safes, this means you need a fairly thick wall. If your wall is not thick enough, a freestanding safe anchored to the wall or floor is often the better solution. See our home safe page or explore our range of wall safes and floor safes.
