Asecos ION-ULTRA 90 – High-end safety cabinet for charging and storing lithium batteries
The Asecos ION-ULTRA 90 is a premium safety cabinet, designed for the secure storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. With 90 minutes of fire resistance, tested both from outside to inside and from inside to outside, it provides maximum protection against battery fires and external fire exposure. The cabinet is certified according to EN 14470-1, EN 1363-1 and the new VDMA 24994 (class I/O90).
Insulated shelves prevent fire spread between storage levels. Smoke and temperature sensors ensure early detection, while an LED display with visual and acoustic alarm provides immediate warning. Potential-free contacts automatically transmit any alarm to a control room or building management system. An automatic extinguishing system is optionally available.
An integrated ventilation system prevents heat build-up during charging and allows connection to external exhaust. This keeps the temperature stable and ensures safe removal of smoke gases.
