Asecos ION-CHARGE 90 – Safety cabinet for charging lithium-ion batteries
The Asecos ION-CHARGE 90 is a compact, fire-resistant safety cabinet designed for the charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries in workspaces. Certain models are suitable for under-counter installation (height 78 cm), making them ideal for use under workbenches or technical setups.
The cabinet offers 90 minutes of fire resistance, tested according to EN 14470-1 and EN 1363-1, and is built for active battery storage. Inside the fire-resistant compartment, grounded electrical sockets allow for safe battery charging. A smoke detector and temperature sensor ensure early hazard detection and trigger LED, acoustic and optical alerts. A volt-free contact allows integration with alarm systems or building monitoring; a telecommunication module is available as an option.
The cabinet includes a lockable drawer to protect contents from unauthorized access or theft. One model is equipped with a fire-resistant inner compartment that slows fire development and enables separate evacuation if needed. The transport base and optional wheel set with brake provide ease of mobility and evacuation in case of damage.
