Salvus Monopoli – Compact deposit safe with deposit system

The Salvus Monopoli is a compact deposit safe, also suitable as a day safe, designed for safely depositing cash or documents without opening the door. Constructed from 3 mm steel plate, it features a single-wall body and a door locked on three sides.

The unit includes a secure deposit system with anti-fishing protection, integrated into an easy-to-use deposit flap. This mechanism prevents access to deposited contents and offers smooth handling for regular use. It provides a reliable solution with basic security, ideal for environments where interim deposits are needed. Depending on the model, the safe may include one or more compartments, with the option of an internal lockable compartment.

The door opens to 180°, and anchoring holes are provided in the base (fixing materials included).
Available with either a double-bit key lock or an electronic combination lock with programmable time delay.

Frequently asked questions

Both types are found on compact, untested deposit safes — an affordable solution for setting aside daily takings during the day. The difference lies in the opening.

A deposit slot, as on the Technomax Trony, is a narrow opening for banknotes and envelopes. Its small size makes the contents hard to reach, and since a slot has no moving parts, there is little that can wear or break. A slot can often also be fitted to a regular safe — keep in mind, however, that the safe's certification is then voided. Coin rolls or thicker bundles will not fit through a slot.

A deposit flap, as on the Salvus Monopoli, offers a wider opening: it also accepts coin rolls, envelopes with change or small sealbags. The flap is fitted with an anti-fishing device that makes retrieving the contents more difficult.

In short: for banknotes only, a slot is sufficient; if you also deposit coins or sealbags, a flap is more practical. Please note: both types are not certified, and they offer less protection against fishing out the contents than an EN 1143-2 certified deposit safe such as the Salvus Tivoli or the Robur deposit safes. If the deposited values need to be insured, always choose a certified model.

Yes. As standard, our safes are prepared for anchoring through holes in the base and — depending on the model — in the back wall. If this does not suit your situation, for example with underfloor heating, a wooden floor or a specific setup, we can provide additional anchoring points where needed. Simply mention this when placing your order: the adaptation is carried out at the factory or in our own workshop, without compromising the safe's certification. We then take care of the delivery, installation and anchoring ourselves.
