DRS Prisma – burglary- and fire-resistant safe with slim external dimensions (Class 4 & Class 5, EN 1143-1, ECB·S)
The DRS Prisma range comprises professionally engineered burglary- and fire-resistant safes in Class 4 (IV) and Class 5 (V), developed for applications requiring a high to very high level of security. Both the DRS Prisma Class 4 and DRS Prisma Class 5 are ECB·S certified in accordance with the European standard EN 1143-1, providing proven resistance against severe mechanical and thermal attack methods. In addition, the safes are tested in accordance with EN 15659 – LFS 30P, ensuring protection of paper documents for 30 minutes at temperatures of up to 850 °C, suitable for environments with limited fire risk.
Each DRS Prisma safe is constructed with a robust multi-wall steel structure and relatively slim external dimensions, allowing a high security level to be combined with the retention of practical installation possibilities. Depending on the selected class, the wall and door construction varies, with Class 5 offering a significantly higher level of resistance compared to Class 4. The door is equipped with rectangular solid locking bolts on three sides and features a full-height interlocking profile on the hinge side, rendering attacks on the hinges ineffective. External hinges allow for a door opening angle of up to 180°, enhancing ease of use.
A key security feature of the DRS Prisma IV and V is the passive relocking system with glass plate. In the event of a targeted attack on the lock or door, the glass plate automatically activates the blocking mechanism, immediately securing the locking system and preventing further opening. This system operates entirely mechanically and does not require any external activation.
All safes are equipped as standard with two EN 1300-certified Class B locks, in compliance with the requirements of EN 1143-1 for both Class 4 and Class 5. The DRS Prisma range is available in multiple models with a capacity of approximately 57 to 579 litres, covering both compact and larger storage requirements.
Thanks to the combination of DRS Prisma Class 4 and Class 5 within a single product range, slim external dimensions, three-sided rectangular locking bolts and the glass-activated passive relocking system, the DRS Prisma range represents a reliable solution for applications where high, certified security is essential.
