DRS Prisma III – burglary- and fire-resistant safe (EN 1143-1 Class 3, ECB·S)
The DRS Prisma III is an EN 1143-1 Class 3 safe by De Raat, designed for applications where a reliable level of security is required, both in professional and residential environments. As a Class 3 safe, the DRS Prisma III is ECB·S certified in accordance with the European standard EN 1143-1, providing proven resistance against mechanical and thermal attack methods within the scope of this class.
In addition to burglary resistance, the DRS Prisma III is tested according to EN 15659 – LFS 30P. This certification ensures 30 minutes of fire protection for paper documents at temperatures of up to 850 °C and provides a basic level of protection in fire scenarios with limited fire risk.
The DRS Prisma III is constructively built with a multi-wall body and door, incorporating reinforcing armatures and a fibre-reinforced, concrete-based composite core. The door is secured by a three-sided locking system with solid round locking bolts. On the hinge side, a full-height interlocking profile prevents attacks via the hinges or lateral prying. External hinges allow for a door opening angle of up to 180°, improving accessibility and ease of use.
The locking mechanism is operated by EN 1300-certified locks (Class B). Depending on the application, the safe can be equipped with a key lock, mechanical combination lock, electronic code lock, or a combination of these systems. Electronic locks may, if desired, be fitted with time delay or time window functions, providing additional control over access and operation.
Internally, the DRS Prisma III is functionally arranged with height-adjustable shelves. From model III/1 onwards, the safe is suitable for storing A4 folders. The range is standard prepared for floor and wall anchoring. The DRS Prisma III is available in multiple models with varying dimensions and a capacity of approximately 12 to 307 litres. If desired, the safe can be supplied with a left-hand opening door, optional and made to order.
Thanks to the combination of EN 1143-1 Class 3 certification, LFS 30P fire protection, and a well-engineered door and locking construction, the DRS Prisma III by De Raat represents a reliable safe for situations where certified burglary resistance and basic fire protection are required.
