BURG-WÄCHTER Office-Doku – Grade 2 safe with 60-minute fire protection
The BURG-WÄCHTER Office-Doku is a professional burglary- and fire-resistant safe designed for the secure storage of important documents, files, cash and other valuables. The safe is certified according to the European standard EN 1143-1 Grade 2 and additionally provides 60 minutes of certified fire protection for paper according to EN 1047-1 S60P.
EN 1047-1 is one of the most stringent European standards for fire-resistant safes. During the S60P test, the safe is exposed to the standardised time-temperature curve for 60 minutes, with the furnace temperature reaching approximately 945 °C. The maximum permitted internal temperature for the protection of paper is 172 °C. The test also includes a drop test and a natural cooling phase. After the furnace is switched off, the internal temperature continues to be monitored, as the temperature inside the safe can continue to rise during the cooling phase.
The Office-Doku has a double-walled body completely filled with fire-resistant insulating material. The door is also double-walled. It is secured on three sides by solid round steel bolts with a diameter of 28 mm. Fixed steel bolts on the hinge side provide additional protection, resulting in four-sided locking. A double non-resettable emergency locking system blocks the locking mechanism in the event of a targeted attack.
The Office-Doku is available in two sizes with capacities of 79.6 and 158.3 litres. The interior is suitable for standard office binders and is fitted with height-adjustable shelves.
The safe can be equipped with the armoured SecuSafe double-bit key lock, VdS-tested class 2 and ECB.S certified according to EN 1300 class B, or with the SecuTronic electronic combination lock with fingerprint recognition.
The safe is prepared as standard for floor anchoring. To preserve the certified fire protection, no anchoring point through the rear wall is provided. The standard colour is light grey RAL 7035.
