BURG-WÄCHTER Royal – professional high-security safe
The BURG-WÄCHTER Royal is a high-security safe designed for the secure storage of cash, jewellery, documents and other valuables. The range is certified according to the European standard EN 1143-1 and is available in Grade 3 and Grade 4. The Royal is therefore suitable for businesses, institutions and private users requiring a high level of certified burglary protection.
The Royal features a triple-walled body and a heavily armoured locking mechanism. The door is secured on three sides by heavy steel bolts mounted on multiple bearings. A continuous interlocking profile on the hinge side provides additional protection, resulting in four-sided locking when the door is closed. The lock and locking mechanism are additionally protected by reinforced armour plating and a non-resettable emergency locking system. On Grade 4 models, this emergency locking system is doubled.
The Grade 3 version is fitted as standard with an armoured SecuSafe double-bit key lock, VdS-tested class 2 and ECB.S certified according to EN 1300 class B. The Royal Grade 4 is always equipped with at least two certified locking systems according to EN 1300 class B.
The Royal can also be equipped with a SecuTronic electronic combination lock with fingerprint recognition. The illuminated touch control panel and graphic display provide straightforward operation. The fingerprint sensor features live-finger detection, while additional functions include an opening delay, programmable locking periods, firmware updates via microSD card and an opening history that can be viewed on the graphic display. Depending on the version, multiple user codes and up to 20 fingerprints can be programmed. The electronic lock is ECB.S certified according to EN 1300 class B.
The Royal is available in several sizes and offers a spacious interior with sufficient depth for standard office binders. The shelves are height-adjustable, allowing the available space to be configured for documents, files, cash boxes and other valuables.
The construction of the Royal incorporates flame-retardant material according to DIN 4102 and the door is fitted with a continuous fire rebate. DIN 4102 relates exclusively to the fire behaviour of the material used and is not a fire-resistance test of the safe itself. The Royal therefore does not provide certified fire protection for its contents for a specified period of time. If certified fire protection is required in addition to burglary protection, please consult our range of fire-resistant safes.
The safe is prepared for secure anchoring through the rear wall and is finished as standard in Royal graphite grey.
