A fire- and burglary-resistant safe protects your valuables against both theft and fire. Dual certification means the safe has been tested and approved separately for both aspects.Burglary resistance is certified according to security level S1/S2 (EN 14450) for entry-level models and limited values, or according to grades 0 to 6 (EN 1143-1) for professionally certified safes — the higher the grade, the higher the insurable value. Fire resistance is tested separately, for example according to EN 15659 or NT Fire 017, and ranges from 30 to 120 minutes of protection. Note the difference between paper documents and digital media such as hard drives or USB sticks: digital data is damaged at much lower temperatures.Only safes with dual certification offer genuinely tested resistance against both fire and burglary.Learn more:
