Chubbsafes DPC – Fire-Resistant Document Cabinet (UL 72, 120 Minutes)
The Chubbsafes DPC is a high-quality fire-resistant document cabinet, designed to protect paper documents from the devastating effects of fire. Certified according to the UL 72 Class 350 standard, it provides up to 120 minutes of fire protection at temperatures up to 1000 °C, making it a reliable solution for securely storing important documents, files, archives and other valuable papers.
The Chubbsafes DPC is available in six sizes ranging from 160 to 670 litres, offering ample capacity for large volumes of documents. It is suitable for offices, administrations, archive rooms and other professional environments requiring safe and organised document storage. Its locking mechanism ensures that the cabinet remains fire-resistant as soon as the door is closed, while the interlocking door system on double-door models prevents accidental openings.
This document cabinet is standardly equipped with a Mauer double-bitted key lock, with the option of electronic or mechanical combination locks for added security and ease of use. For enhanced security, the Chubbsafes DPC can optionally be anchored to the floor. Various interior configurations are available: a pull-out frame for hanging files, a lockable inner compartment or a drawer.
The DPC has been tested at 1000 °C for two hours followed by a cooling period — in accordance with the UL 72 Class 350 standard, one of the most stringent fire resistance standards for document storage.
