DRS Euro Defender V – burglary- and fire-resistant Grade 5 safe
The DRS Euro Defender V is a burglary- and fire-resistant Grade 5 safe by De Raat Safes, designed for the secure storage of cash, valuables, confidential documents and other valuable goods. This version is ECB·S certified according to EN 1143-1 Grade V and combines a high certified level of burglary resistance with 60 minutes of fire protection for paper documents.
The burglary resistance is certified according to the European standard EN 1143-1 Grade V / Class 5. The fire resistance is tested according to NT FIRE 017 – 60 Paper, providing 60 minutes of protection for paper documents in the event of fire.
The DRS Euro Defender V is built with a multi-wall steel construction and a multilayer structure composed of different resistance materials. This construction combines certified burglary resistance with 60 minutes of fire protection for paper documents, without unnecessary wall thickness or excessive weight. The body and door are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of EN 1143-1 Grade V and NT FIRE 017 60P.
The door is fitted with a robust four-sided locking system with solid steel bolts at the top, bottom, closing side and hinge side. On the hinge side, fixed steel bolts mechanically secure the door, even in the event of an attack on the hinges. External hinges allow a door opening angle of up to 180°.
Fire-resistant seals are fitted around the door and frame. At high temperatures, these seals expand and limit the penetration of heat, smoke and flames. This keeps the contents protected in accordance with the test conditions of NT FIRE 017 60P.
The lock and boltwork mechanism is protected by additional armouring with hard metal/carbide and hardened steel balls. Active and passive relocking systems block the locking mechanism in the event of a targeted attack on the lock or door. This protection increases resistance against drilling, manipulation and forced opening.
In accordance with EN 1143-1 Grade V, the DRS Euro Defender V is equipped as standard with two EN 1300-certified locks. The safe can be supplied with double-bitted key locks, mechanical combination locks, electronic code locks or a combination of different lock types. Depending on the version, electronic locks can be equipped with time delay, time window functions, user management or audit functionality.
Internally, the DRS Euro Defender V is fitted with height-adjustable shelves. The safe is prepared for anchoring and is suitable for the secure storage of cash, valuables, confidential documents and other valuable goods.
Thanks to the combination of EN 1143-1 Grade V / Class 5 certification, NT FIRE 017 60P fire protection, the multilayer multi-wall construction, the four-sided door locking system and the active and passive relocking systems, the DRS Euro Defender V is a strong Grade 5 safe for professional applications requiring a high certified level of security.
