DRS Prisma V - Grade 5 safe

DRS Prisma V – burglary- and fire-resistant safe (EN 1143-1 Grade 5, ECB·S)

The DRS Prisma V is a burglary- and fire-resistant safe by De Raat Safes, designed for applications requiring a very high level of security. As an EN 1143-1 Grade 5 safe, the DRS Prisma V is ECB·S certified in accordance with the European standard EN 1143-1, confirming resistance to heavy mechanical and thermal burglary methods in compliance with the requirements of this standard.

In addition to burglary resistance according to EN 1143-1, the DRS Prisma V is tested in accordance with EN 15659 – LFS 30P. This standard provides 30 minutes of protection for paper documents at temperatures of up to 850 °C, offering protection in fire scenarios with a limited fire risk.

The DRS Prisma V is constructed with a heavy multi-wall steel body and door, adapted to the requirements of EN 1143-1 Grade 5 — the most heavily secured model in the Prisma range.

The door is equipped with a robust four-sided locking system, with rectangular solid steel bolts on the top, bottom and closing side. On the hinge side, a fixed full-height interlocking profile engages into the safe body. As a result, the door remains mechanically secured on the hinge side as well, making attacks on the hinges ineffective against the door locking system. External hinges allow a door opening angle of up to 180°.

A key security feature of the DRS Prisma V is the passive relocking system with glass plate. In the event of a targeted attack on the lock or door, this glass plate automatically activates the blocking mechanism, immediately securing the locking system. This system operates fully mechanically and requires no external activation.

In accordance with the requirements of EN 1143-1 Grade 5, the DRS Prisma V is equipped as standard with two EN 1300-certified Class B locks. Depending on the application, the safe can be configured with double-bitted key locks, mechanical combination locks or electronic code locks. Certain electronic locks may be equipped with time delay and time window functions and, if required, an emergency key override. Mechanical combination locks provide keyless operation. Combinations of different lock types are possible.

Internally, the DRS Prisma V is fitted with height-adjustable shelves and is prepared for floor anchoring. The safe is available in nine models, with a capacity ranging from 57 to 386 litres.

Thanks to the combination of EN 1143-1 Grade 5 certification, LFS 30P fire protection, its heavy-duty construction, the robust four-sided locking system and the glass-controlled passive relocking system, the DRS Prisma V by De Raat Safes is a reliable solution for applications requiring a very high level of certified security.

Frequently asked questions

Atelier Boonen takes care of the delivery, installation and anchoring of safes entirely in-house. We never use external transporters or installers. Using specialised transport equipment, we deliver discreetly and safely, including to upper floors or hard-to-reach locations. Safes are always wrapped in opaque film and transported in unmarked vehicles to avoid curious eyes.

For safes up to 1000 kg, anchoring is mandatory under the European standard EN 1143-1. We carry out this anchoring carefully, using chemical anchors or adapted solutions depending on the substrate. Where necessary, we use stair climbers and protective materials to safeguard floors, walls and staircases.

The installation is always carried out safely, efficiently and with respect for the building. This guarantees you a professionally executed installation offering the strongest and most durable solution. In 95% of cases, delivery, installation and anchoring are included in the price — at no extra charge.

If no solid wall or floor is available to anchor a safe or fire-resistant cabinet directly, there are still solutions. In such cases, we can provide special structures or mounting plates to ensure the safe is securely and reliably fixed.

Since every situation is unique, we always assess the conditions on site and advise on the most appropriate method. This way, you can be sure that the safe is installed safely, even when standard anchoring is not possible.

Yes. As standard, our safes are prepared for anchoring through holes in the base and — depending on the model — in the back wall. If this does not suit your situation, for example with underfloor heating, a wooden floor or a specific setup, we can provide additional anchoring points where needed. Simply mention this when placing your order: the adaptation is carried out at the factory or in our own workshop, without compromising the safe's certification. We then take care of the delivery, installation and anchoring ourselves.

Yes, a safe can be equipped with an electrical outlet, cable entry or internal lighting. This is particularly useful for watch winders, LED lighting and charging electronic devices.

The available options depend on the model and intended use. The installation is carried out without compromising the operation or security of the safe.

By default, safes have a right-hand door (DIN right). When standing in front of the safe, the hinges are on the right — or on the left if you have found yourself locked inside. It is not possible to change the opening direction of an existing safe.

For a limited number of models, a left-hand door (DIN left) is available. The hinges are then on the left. This configuration is never available from stock and must be ordered specifically. It is not available on all models — please ask us whether your chosen model can be supplied with a left-hand door.
