De Raat Safes

DRS Prisma VII - – Grade 7 safe

DRS Prisma VII – burglary- and fire-resistant safe (EN 1143-1 Grade 7, ECB·S)

The DRS Prisma VII is an EN 1143-1 Grade 7 safe by De Raat Safes — the highest grade within this European standard, and therefore the very highest level of certified burglary resistance that exists for safes. The DRS Prisma VII is ECB·S certified in accordance with EN 1143-1, confirming resistance to the heaviest mechanical and thermal burglary methods in compliance with the requirements of this standard. Safes offering this exceptionally high level of security are deployed where the greatest values must be protected: by jewellers and diamond dealers, in the financial sector, and in professional environments subject to the strictest insurance requirements.

In addition to burglary resistance according to EN 1143-1, the DRS Prisma VII provides fire protection in accordance with EN 15659 – LFS 30P. This standard guarantees 30 minutes of protection for paper documents at temperatures of up to 850 °C, offering protection in fire scenarios with a limited fire risk.

The DRS Prisma VII is constructed with a heavy multi-wall body and door, incorporating burglary-resistant armouring and additional protection against drilling, grinding and thermal attack methods. The door is locked on all four sides: a locking system with solid bolts covers three sides, while on the hinge side a hook profile engages into the body over the full height of the door. Attacks on the hinges therefore have no effect on the locking system. External hinges allow a door opening angle of up to 180°.

The locking mechanism is supported by internal, passive relocking systems that are automatically activated in the event of a targeted attack, blocking the locking mechanism. These systems operate fully mechanically and form an integral part of the overall security design of the safe.

In accordance with the requirements of EN 1143-1 Grade 7, the DRS Prisma VII is equipped as standard with two EN 1300-certified Class C locks — the locks themselves therefore belong to a higher security class than those of lower-grade safes. Depending on the application, the safe can be configured with double-bitted key locks, mechanical combination locks, electronic code locks, or a combination thereof. Electronic locks may optionally be fitted with features such as time delay or time windows.

Internally, the DRS Prisma VII is fitted with height-adjustable shelves. The safe is prepared for floor anchoring. The DRS Prisma VII is available in eight models, with varying dimensions and a capacity ranging from 84 to 300 litres.

With its EN 1143-1 Grade 7 certification, LFS 30P fire protection and heavy-duty construction, the DRS Prisma VII by De Raat Safes offers an exceptionally high level of certified security — the most heavily secured safe in the Prisma range, for those who cannot or will not compromise.

Frequently asked questions

Atelier Boonen takes care of the delivery, installation and anchoring of safes entirely in-house. We never use external transporters or installers. Using specialised transport equipment, we deliver discreetly and safely, including to upper floors or hard-to-reach locations. Safes are always wrapped in opaque film and transported in unmarked vehicles to avoid curious eyes.

For safes up to 1000 kg, anchoring is mandatory under the European standard EN 1143-1. We carry out this anchoring carefully, using chemical anchors or adapted solutions depending on the substrate. Where necessary, we use stair climbers and protective materials to safeguard floors, walls and staircases.

The installation is always carried out safely, efficiently and with respect for the building. This guarantees you a professionally executed installation offering the strongest and most durable solution. In 95% of cases, delivery, installation and anchoring are included in the price — at no extra charge.

According to the European standard EN 1143-1, ECB-S certified safes and strongboxes are classified in resistance classes from 0 to VII.

Most manufacturers produce safes up to class V. Only a few manufacturers produce class VI safes, and only a very limited number manufacture class VII safes.

For safe doors and strongrooms, even higher classes are possible. Under the same standard, these can reach up to class XIII.

The higher the resistance class, the greater the protection against professional burglary methods and the higher the value that can be safely stored in the safe.

By default, safes have a right-hand door (DIN right). When standing in front of the safe, the hinges are on the right — or on the left if you have found yourself locked inside. It is not possible to change the opening direction of an existing safe.

For a limited number of models, a left-hand door (DIN left) is available. The hinges are then on the left. This configuration is never available from stock and must be ordered specifically. It is not available on all models — please ask us whether your chosen model can be supplied with a left-hand door.

Yes, a safe can be equipped with an electrical outlet, cable entry or internal lighting. This is particularly useful for watch winders, LED lighting and charging electronic devices.

The available options depend on the model and intended use. The installation is carried out without compromising the operation or security of the safe.

Yes. As standard, our safes are prepared for anchoring through holes in the base and — depending on the model — in the back wall. If this does not suit your situation, for example with underfloor heating, a wooden floor or a specific setup, we can provide additional anchoring points where needed. Simply mention this when placing your order: the adaptation is carried out at the factory or in our own workshop, without compromising the safe's certification. We then take care of the delivery, installation and anchoring ourselves.
