How is a safe chemically anchored?

Chemical anchoring is a method of securely fixing a safe or fire-resistant cabinet into the substrate using a two-component mortar and a high-strength threaded rod. First, drilling is carried out through the floor finish, screed and insulation until the concrete slab is reached. The drilled hole is then carefully cleaned and filled with the chemical mortar. The threaded rod is inserted into the mortar and, once cured, creates an exceptionally strong bond that prevents the safe from being moved.
