Four series in grade 0 to 2 with 60 or 120 minutes of fire protection for paper
The DRS Köln, Wuppertal, Berlin and Prague by De Raat combine a certified burglary grade according to EN 1143-1 with a fire test for paper according to EN 1047-1, including a 9.15 metre drop test. They protect documents, cash and valuables against both burglary and fire.
The series differ in burglary grade and fire duration. The Köln (grade 0) and the Wuppertal (grade 1) are fire resistant for 60 minutes for paper (S 60 P) and share the same external dimensions. The Wuppertal also comes in a narrow version, 463 mm wide, from 29 to 70 litres. The Berlin (grade 1) and the Prague (grade 2) are fire resistant for 120 minutes for paper (S 120 P). You first choose the grade that suits the value, then the fire duration.
All models have external hinges, so the door opens to 180°. The door locks on four sides: moving bolts on the lock side, top and bottom, and fixed bolts on the hinge side. They come with a double-bit key lock and can be fitted with an electronic code lock instead. The Köln 14 and Wuppertal 14 have two doors, as do the Berlin and Prague 6, 7 and 8; the Prague 7 and 8 also have a central partition. Inside, the shelves are height-adjustable. Options include a lockable inner compartment, a pull-out suspension file frame, pull-out shelves for the Berlin and Prague, LED lighting and a left-hinged door.
Every model is prepared for floor anchoring. Without anchoring, the certified resistance grade is not guaranteed.
