Grade II T2 with 60 minutes of fire protection
The Chubbsafes DuoGuard GII is a burglary resistant safe in Grade II according to EN 1143-1, certified by ECB·S to the new T2 version of the standard. T2 testing uses more powerful tools than before: power tools, grinders, cutters and thermal tools.
The safe protects paper documents against fire for 60 minutes according to NT Fire 017 – 60 Paper, certified by RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden). In the test, the safe spends 60 minutes in a furnace at over 900 °C; after cooling, the inside temperature must not exceed 150 °C.
Door and body are filled with Dualite, a torch-resistant barrier material that protects against burglary and fire while limiting its weight. The three-way boltwork with solid steel bolts is protected by anti-drill plates and an active relocker.
As primary lock you choose a key lock (Class A) or an electronic code lock (Class B), both certified to EN 1300. Dual locking is available from model M-115. The electronic lock offers a master code, a supervisor code and 8 user codes, a time delay of up to 99 minutes, an opening window of 1 to 19 minutes and an optional silent duress alarm.
The DuoGuard GII comes in 7 sizes, from 65 to 443 litres. From model M-115, extendable shelves, drawers, a lockable compartment, a shelf prepared for hanging files and a suspension file frame are available.
