Technomax Gold Built-in Safe

Technomax Gold built-in safe – Wall safe to be built in, Security level S2 (EN 14450)

The Technomax Gold built-in safe is designed to be built into a wall or embedded in concrete and offers a discreet and effective solution for situations with a limited security risk. This wall safe is certified according to EN 14450, Security level S2, and features a monobloc door and front panel in 10 mm steel, manufactured using laser cutting and fitted with a reinforced profile that resists attacks with lever or prying tools.

The front is virtually flat: on the GK and GT almost nothing protrudes, and on the GD only the three code dials (about 10 mm). The safe thus disappears discreetly into the wall, behind a painting or cabinet door.

Depending on the version, the safe is equipped with:

  • a double-bitted key lock (GK – certified according to EN 1300, class A),
  • a double-bitted key lock combined with a mechanical combination lock with three dials (GD) — the safe only opens with the key when the three dials show the correct code,
  • or an electronic code lock with emergency key (GT).

The Technomax Gold built-in safe is available in several formats, each also in a deeper L version, and is an accessible choice for anyone looking for a simple and effective built-in or wall safe. If you require a certified wall safe according to EN 1143-1, see the ATB W wall safe in Grade 1. Those who prefer a free-standing safe, screwed to the floor or wall or integrated into a cabinet, can turn to the Technomax Gold free-standing safes.

Frequently asked questions

Yes — and the reason lies in the construction itself. A built-in safe, wall safe or floor safe has only an armoured door; the walls are made of sheet steel of 2 to 3 mm and offer little resistance to burglary on their own. The surrounding concrete is therefore not optional but essential: it becomes part of the protection and makes extraction or removal considerably more difficult. Most of our wall safes feature drill protection around the bolts — including at the top and bottom where the bolts emerge. Would you prefer to install a safe without any building or masonry work? Then opt for a freestanding furniture safe that can be anchored to the floor or wall without embedding.

The minimum wall thickness is the depth of the safe itself plus at least 10 cm of concrete at the rear, plus any finishing at the back. For most wall safes, this means you need a fairly thick wall. If your wall is not thick enough, a freestanding safe anchored to the wall or floor is often the better solution. See our home safe page or explore our range of wall safes and floor safes.
