Atelier Boonen takes care of the delivery, installation and anchoring of safes entirely in-house. We never use external transporters or installers. Using specialised transport equipment, we deliver discreetly and safely, including to upper floors or hard-to-reach locations. Safes are always wrapped in opaque film and transported in unmarked vehicles to avoid curious eyes.

For safes up to 1000 kg, anchoring is mandatory under the European standard EN 1143-1. We carry out this anchoring carefully, using chemical anchors or adapted solutions depending on the substrate. Where necessary, we use stair climbers and protective materials to safeguard floors, walls and staircases.

The installation is always carried out safely, efficiently and with respect for the building. This guarantees you a professionally executed installation offering the strongest and most durable solution. In 95% of cases, delivery, installation and anchoring are included in the price — at no extra charge.

For jewellers and diamond dealers, safes with a high burglary-resistance grade are essential. In practice, this often means models that comply with EN 1143-1, Grade III or higher, as this level is commonly required by insurers in the diamond sector.

In addition to burglary resistance, fire resistance can also be important, for example to protect certificates, documents, packaging and other sensitive items. The dimensions and internal layout of the safe should be tailored to your collection of jewellery, diamonds, watches or precious metals.

Well-known brands often used for this type of application include Fichet-Bauche, Chubbsafes and Wertheim. The exact safe you need depends on your collection, but above all on the conditions set by your insurer. We always recommend checking with your insurance company first to confirm which security grade is required, so you can be sure your investment is fully covered.

No, not automatically — the two certifications are independent of each other. A [fire-resistant cabinet keeps the internal temperature under control during a fire, but offers no certified resistance against burglary. A fire-resistant safe from our range, on the other hand, is doubly certified: both fire-resistant and burglar-resistant according to EN 1143-1. If you want protection against both fire and theft, choose a model with both certifications — and ask for this explicitly when purchasing.

Yes. As standard, our safes are prepared for anchoring through holes in the base and — depending on the model — in the back wall. If this does not suit your situation, for example with underfloor heating, a wooden floor or a specific setup, we can provide additional anchoring points where needed. Simply mention this when placing your order: the adaptation is carried out at the factory or in our own workshop, without compromising the safe's certification. We then take care of the delivery, installation and anchoring ourselves.

Yes, a safe can be equipped with an electrical outlet, cable entry or internal lighting. This is particularly useful for watch winders, LED lighting and charging electronic devices.
