Key cabinets and key safes for secure key storage
Key safes and key cabinets are secured cabinets or safes for storing keys, badges and access cards. They come in a wide range of formats: from small key safes for a handful of keys to large professional key cabinets holding dozens, hundreds or even more than 1,000 keys. They are used by companies, apartment buildings, schools, care institutions, property managers, technical services, garages, car dealerships and any other organisation where keys need to be stored safely and in good order.
Depending on the security level required, you can opt for a simple key cabinet, a sturdier key safe, or a certified burglary-resistant safe or fire-resistant safe fitted with a dedicated key interior.
A considerable part of our safes and vaults can be custom-fitted with key hooks, key panels or other key storage layouts. That keeps keys not only organised, but also far better protected.
For garages, body shops, car dealerships and fleet managers, there are versions with larger hooks for car keys, key bundles or labelled keys. Some models can also be fitted with a deposit slot and anti-fishing system, allowing keys to be deposited securely without giving access to the contents — the same principle as our deposit safes, including a through-the-wall deposit opening for depositing keys from outside or from an adjacent room.
The lock, too, determines the security level. Key safes are available with a key lock, a mechanical or an electronic code lock — with or without an audit function, where the lock records who opened it and when.
