The range runs from compact pistol safes to spacious rifle safes and gun cabinets for multiple long guns. Some models carry certified burglary resistance — recognisable by the grade symbol on the product photo.
Depending on the application and requirements, other safes or security cabinets with higher security grades can also be fitted out as weapon safes, retaining their certification to EN 1143-1, Grades 1 to 6, with or without fire protection. Combined configurations are equally possible, fitting a safe with both a gun rack and shelves for storing other goods or documents.
The interior layout plays an essential role in weapon storage. Standard gun holders are not always suited to firearms fitted with optical sights or to certain semi-automatic weapons. In such cases, a custom interior can be provided, tailored to the type, number and dimensions of the weapons, while guaranteeing safe and orderly handling.
The lock deserves attention too. Weapon safes are available with a key lock, a mechanical code lock or an electronic code lock — with or without an emergency key, such as the Kaba Mauer Code-Combi B90, which combines an electronic code with a mechanical opening in emergencies.
