Safes and Vaults

Our range of safes and strong cabinets in Belgium offers reliable and certified solutions for private individuals, public institutions and businesses. Depending on the application, our selection includes burglar-resistant safes, fire-resistant safes, fire-resistant cabinets, deposit safes, in-wall safes and gun cabinets. Hotel safes, key safes and luxury safes, as well as complete safe rooms and vault doors, also form part of our range.

A burglar-resistant safe is not automatically fire-resistant. A fire-resistant safe is designed to protect its contents against fire and may, depending on the model, also be certified for burglary resistance. Safes offering protection against both burglary and fire are grouped in our category fire-resistant safes.

We are happy to advise you in selecting the most appropriate solution, in accordance with the applicable European standards. Please also read our article: How to choose a safe.

Frequently asked questions

We are a small, specialised company and carry out all installations, repairs and interventions ourselves. As a result, we are rarely in the office, and our phone is usually switched off during the workday.

We check our e-mail regularly. E-mail allows us to help you more efficiently — especially when we receive the necessary information right away.

For interventions or emergency access requests:

If available, please include the following details in your message:

  • A clear photo of the safe door, fully visible and taken from the front
  • A brief description of the issue, for example:
    – lost key or code
    – key left inside, door closed
    – safe used to open normally, but now doesn’t
    – lock is blocked or mechanism is stiff
  • The location of the safe (municipality or postal code), so we can estimate the travel cost
  • Optional: a phone number for faster follow-up
  • If this concerns a branch or business location, please also mention a contact person and phone number

The best safe doesn't exist — what does exist is the best safe for your situation. A jeweller has different needs than a private individual. An office faces different risks than a pharmacy. And a fireproof safe doesn't protect against burglary in the same way as a certified burglary-resistant safe.

Some essential criteria:

  • Against what — burglary, fire or both?
  • What value — the resistance grade determines the value that can be stored safely
  • What volume — does a specific object need to fit inside? Think of a firearm, a laptop or an A4 folder
  • What type of lock — key, mechanical combination or electronic? With or without emergency key?
  • Where — freestanding, built-in or in a cupboard?
  • What budget — a grade 1 safe is accessible, a grade 6 represents a significant investment

There is no such thing as a completely inviolable safe: with enough time and the right tools, any safe can be opened. A safe is therefore considered burglary-resistant, offering a specific level of resistance against forced entry.

Most of the safes in our range are tested and certified according to European standards, and classified into security grades ranging from S1 up to Grade VI. The higher the grade, the greater the resistance.

From Grade III onwards, safes are considered truly secure, requiring significant time and professional burglary tools to be opened.
